Azerbaijani parliamentary speaker embarks on official visit to Türkiye

Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (parliament) Sahiba Gafarova on Wednesday arrived in Türkiye on an official visit, the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ankara said on X, AzVision.az reports.

“Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova and the delegation accompanying her arrived on an official visit to the Republic of Türkiye. Gafarova was welcomed at the airport by the ambassador of Azerbaijan in Ankara, Rashad Mammadov, the chairman of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group, Shamil Ayrim, and other officials,” the embassy said.
